ie 6 shutting down after opening

Our Internet Explorer started doing something strange tonight. When we open
it ..it immediately closes. You see a flash of the homepage then gone. I
tried everything including reloading XP. Any thoughts because I can't get
out to download a new version.

Yep... another one here with exactly the same problem as of 1hr 30 minutes
ago. No solution in sight yet :-)
