I posted this message in another group 3 days ago and have not yet gotten an
answer, so I am reposting it here. I apologize to anyone that is offended by
this "cross-post", but believe it is justified because I did not receive an
answer. The paragraph below refers to an IE 7 beta 3 problem.

The "Search" box defaults to Yahoo. I prefer to use something else. When I
click on "Search Options" and then on "Find more providers", I am taken to a
web page with instructions on how to make the change. The instructions
include clicking on a link for the preferred search provider. Unfortunately,
when I click on the preferred provider, nothing happens except for a cryptic
message on the status bar "Error on Page".

Can anybody explain what is going on and how to correct this problem?
