I have previously installed ie7 beta 2.

Recently I wanted to try beta 3 and was instructed to remove beta 2. I
thought I had correctly uninstalled beta 2 but (it now longer shows up
in the add/remove programs - even if show updates is on). But when I try
to install beta 3 I am informed that the previous version of ie is still
installed.

I have worked through the help on microsoft site but could not resolve
the issue. I could not locate the correct spunist.exe for ie7 I can only
find uninstall files for XP security updates.

My operating system is XP SP2.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kind Regards

download the Beta 2 Uninstall files here.   Haven't run it yet,  but they
speak to exactly what you've got(and me too).
