Hello:

It is my understanding that internet shortcuts copied to the folder:
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Favorites" will appear as
Favorites in everyone's Internet Explorer.   But when the user goes
into IE, the favorites are not there.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?   I'm using IE 6.0 with Windows
XP Professional.

Thanks!

Jessi

Try placing your favorites in your own folder rather than the "All Users"
folder. For example, if your User Name is Jessi, Your favorites folder will
be at C:\Documents and Settings\Jessi\Favorites

Thanks for the suggestion, Rev.

Unfortunately, I won't be the user who will need the favorites.   We
are setting up software on computers that will be assigned to a user at
a later time.   At the time of the configuration, we don't know who
will be getting the computer... that's why we are trying to place the
favorites under the "All Users" folder.

Thanks,
Jessi
