I am unable to uninstall internet explorer 7 beta 2 from my computer,
when i select it from add/remove programs, it tells me, "An error
occurred while trying to remove Internet Explorer Beta 2 Preview. It
may have already been uninstalled. Would you like to remove Internet
Explorer Beta 2 Preview from the Add or Remove programs list?"

I haven't uninstalled IE7, as I can still launch it just fine with no
problems. So I know it's still installed. Is there some other way of
uninstalling it and reverting back to IE6?

I'm running XP SP2.

Thanks in advance

I just want to note also, there is no "$NtUninstallie7bet2p$" directory
in my windows directory. However, the internet explorer beta 2 preview
does show up when i click show updates in the add/remove programs.

Could you use a restore point?

I can uninstall and I have that directory. You might try a search for it
in your entire C: drive.
