IE6 add ons can they be remove ?

Hi ... I was told when using internet explorer 6.0 browser and you give
thoses active x control permission to be added on , that you can't
remove them later on if you decide that you don't want them any longer
, Also these active x control get listed under the "Manage add ons"
section , Is this correct that they can't be remove ? And if so , why
hasn't microsoft made it possible to remove them if you don't want them
listed ? Thanks

Hi ... I found out what I needed to do , C:\windows\downloaded program
files

Thanks anyways ....................:)
