Sudden shut-downs of IE6

Sometimes after I've done a search and go to a site, the page loads up
and then WHAM... IE shuts down as if I closed it down. Is this a
problem at my end or the page end? If I own the problem, where should
I start looking? Is there a series of steps to take to isolate the
problem. Thanks.

BTW, I went to the same site on my work computer and everything was
fine. So the problem seems to be on my home computer. Could sites with
Java make this happen?
