Help!
In the past week or so, my wife began getting the following error message
when she tried to log onto Yahoo.com email from her computer.
"If you are seeing this page, your browser settings prevent you from
automatically redirecting to a new URL."
I've spent two days trying figure out the problem, but to no avail.
On her computer, I've also noticed the following.
If I click on Start then Search, the search screen comes up, but it is
blank, except for the dog wagging his tail. The screen is also a greenish or
something color?
I cannot start up System Restore!
I cannot access the User Account function in WinXP?
I've run all sorts or spyware, malware, ad-aware, spybot, AVG, etc, etc.,
all found nothing.
I'm lost and would appreciate some rock-solid answers to this problem. All
google searches find many other folks asking the same questions, but all the
responses seem to be unqualified trial and error approaches.
TIA.

I found my solution to my own problem.
While trying to completely remove all traces of Norton AntiVirus, I followed
the directions on their web site for manually deleteing the program. One of
the steps directs you to download and install Microsoft Script 5.6.exe. I
downloaded it and ran it and everything that was broke became fixed? Don't
know what went wrong, but I am pleased I'm up and running again.
