Is there a feature in IE6 to disable the autocomplete checkbox on website's
login pages?  I built a webpage and i can't get the username and password to
save.  It saves fine in Firefox.  I'm curious to know if this is something
built into the webpage/webserver, or into the client. Also, i'm curious if
this is a security feature in place by the company who owns these computers.

I'm curious to know how to disable this.  Thanks!

I believe you can turn it off in the Registry.  Here's the link to the
instructions from the microsoft site.

I'm more interested in where this information is stored so I can include it
in my normal backup process (since I find it convenient and don't want to
lose it).  Anyone have any idea where it's stored?

The link seems to be for Outlook, not IE6.  This is what i'm looking for,
just for IE6.

thanks!

Sorry about that.  I must have grabbed the wrong link.  Try this article:
