I seem to have found a bug in IE 6.
Please could someone check out these simple test cases and give me
some feedback and perhaps a workaround?

Hi!
There's something interesting going on there. With Windows 2000 SP4 and
Internet Explorer 6 SP1 I can see the same thing happening. Even more
interesting is that the white background also seems to show up improperly.
It takes a focus switch away from the window and then back again to make the
white part appear.
See what I saw: http://greyghost.dyndns.org/iebug/ (First Image 93.9Kb or
so, second is 52.5Kb in size)
The first image is right after the table rendered. Mozilla Firefox sits
behind IE with what I "assume" is a correct rendering. (That is to say that
it shows the bug.)
The second is after I switched back to the IE window after saving that JPEG
image. Notice the funny cell is gone and the white background appears
properly?
Also interesting to note is that the rendering isn't "stable". That is to
say that I can drag or move another window over the IE window and the layout
will corrupt itself wherever the window covered the IE window.
So is it a bug? I don't know. Maybe it is. If nothing else, this behavior is
interesting.
