Hello folks,
my problem: when double clicking on a link on the desktop I get a "save
as" dialog. Earlier I had the problem that no links were opened when
clicking on them (I tried to fix it by selecting the appl. to be opened
for several file types - htm html and url)
I assume that my registry entries are no more original.
Does anyone know how to reset the registry settings to the original
values?

My system:
windows 2000
ie5.5 (and also tried 6.0 - but uninstalled it)
many thanks in advance
