Hi MSIE is not my default browser but I need to place an Internet Explorer shortcut to a website on my desktop and have forgotten the syntax. Can anyone please assist. If I do as you suggest, I end up with another Mozilla shortcut. I need to define that the shortcut will operate with IE. My bank dont support anything but IE so I have no choice. His problem was that he uses Mozilla 99% of the time. His bank requires IE only so he needed a way to have a shortcut that worked to open a page in IE but not mess up his other web browser. On my machine the shortcut has no open with option? Wayne > Would have been easier to right click the shortcut and click "Open > With..." and change the association to IE.
