Hi.

I don't know if this is the right group for this question, but I'll
give it a try.

I have a web page that opens a Word doc in Internet Explorer. However,
all of the active Word toolbars come up with it, and they are stacked
on top of each other at the left of the new window, taking up way too
much screen real estate. I've tried to rearrange them, but they are
stacked again when I re-open the document.

Is there any way to save the toolbar arrangement, or even better, to
disable them altogether when I open a Word doc in Internet Explorer?

Does it matter whether they're opened using a java(script?) command or
using html?

Thanks.

Rodney

I forgot to mention that I'm using Word 2000 and IE 6 on Win XP Home.
