I'm using IE6 on XP home.
Have got real problem with
mysearchnow.com and
searchweb2.com
they keep hijacking my browser and I am running ad aware (latest config) all
the time to get rid.
I have set the cookies to disallow from the site and do a disc clean up
every time - always the same temp files etc. removed.
I also get an extra search bar "meet soft" which won't go. (can't find it in
any search either).
Also - if disconnected - get a different page (DUPE DELETE) - also regularly
deleted from local settings folder.
I have altered the home page carefully (as web-through etc. takes over).
I have Sygate.
I have searched for these words and deleted where I can.
It just keeps coming back!!
I have tried installing google toolbar to stop popups but searc hijackers
disable it so computer fills up with pop ups too so it often locks up.
There is another computer on the network at home - same configuration, same
web sites visited - but no problems.
Can anyone help?? Can I block it in any way? Can I remove for good?
Help please

HijackThis Log Tutorial

HiJack This is a program that simply searches for programs that run at
boot time, and checks for browser plug-ins. The results this program
gives you are generally just informative. Most of the programs it will
come up with are valid programs that you actually want running. You'll
have to go through the results and tell the program to delete unwanted
programs. If you can't figure out what some of the programs are, don't
just delete them, research them and/or post them so experts can let
you know what the program does. Just type the program name into google
which gets a decent answer pretty quickly.
Try downloading, installing and updating the
spyware removers from the links below. Run both of them.

Spybot S&D

If these don't correct the problem, then get yourself a copy of
BHODemon, available at
http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm .
It does not need installing - simply unzip and run the EXE program. It
is easy to use. It will find the hijackware DLL files, and give you
the ability to disable them.
