My Internet Explorer Icon is missing from it's file.  I have shortcuts
still, and they work.  If I right click on one, go to properties, and
click "Find Target" it brings me to the folder, C:/Program
Files/Internet Explorer, however, it isn't there.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Laurie

Hi Laurie,
Have a try at the following:
Go to 'Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information
click on 'Tools' and if you find an item 'Internet Explorer Repair
Tool' tick 'Repair Internet Explorer'.
I make use of Windows 98 and Internet Explorer 6 so I do hope this
works for you.
Good luck,
Reg

I have Windows XP and IE 6 - I do not have an option of restoring
Internet Explorer in this window.
But thanks for the suggestion-

The other thing you can try is to type iexplore.exe into the
'Start/Find/Files or Folders' (or whatever XP uses) and when/if the IE
icon is found, highlight it, right click and select 'Create Shortcut'.
