I have a friend who had quite a few viruses on her computer. One of the
viruses blocked TaskManager from running as well as AV software from running
or installing.  600 infected files later computer is virus free.

However Internet explorer is not working properly.

If you go to Help About it shows no version info at all no cipher etc...

You cannot print from Internet Explorer or Outlook Express!

Search function in Windows does not work at all it comes up black on the
left side.

I have tried reinstalling and repairing Internet Explorer to no effect!

I am not sure what to do next a reinstall of XP

I tried doing a download of Internet Explorer with the download all files
option but could not get it to run!

Any suggestions welcome!
