Hi!
I have this banner program that runs in Flash. On my desktop the program
displays broken images for all of the graphics. The software company seems
unable to find a solution for me. The weird thing is the program will run on my
laptop just fine. So is there a Flash setting I need to adjust on my desktop? I
have FlashPlayer 9 installed on both. I have tried uninstalling Flash using
Adobe's uninstaller. I've installed Flash 8 (their solution), but the program
will not even load. So I tried Flash 10, same issue with broken images, so went
back to 9.
Any ideas?

what do you mean by "broken image"?

Hi,
All the images display a box with a "broken" icon in the middle. I upgraded to
their new version and they said it would fix this, but it did not. The images
are there in the program's folders as gif's. I am really at a loss.
This is a banner program called Banner Designer Pro 4 and it runs all on
Flash. You start, it shows the little preloader, then asks if you want to
select from a template. When I click on the template button, it will show me
all the templates, which will not display except for empty boxes with the
broken icon in the middle. I can click on one of these and then the image
displays in the main screen with no issue. If I want to change the default
preloader, I can see the choices, but once again all the images are boxes with
a broken icon in the middle. I can select one of these and it will display in
the preview window.
It has to be something on this desktop! The program works just fine on the
laptop.
I can send you screen shots if it will help.

this is a problem with your banner program and should be posted to their tech support.

Yes, I know but they seem unwilling to address the issue. They just keep
telling me to reinstall. I was hoping someone familiar with software written in
Flash would have a solution for me.
Thanks anyway.

that's not software written in flash.
