I have a client who would like to be able to click on an area on her site so
that she can add company news without having to ask for me to update the .fla
file each time. I know there is a TextArea component that would make it
possible for her to change it, but then anyone can change it, because I can't
figure out a way to password protect the field. I know I can link the TextArea
to an external file (like a notepad document) but, unfortunately, she isn't
web-savvy enough to upload changes to the file on her own. Can anyone help with
any kind of solution, even if it exists outside the flash realm? Thanks.

Update: Apparently it's called a news scroller. I have found a few, but many are expensive ($80), or it isn't obvious whether they have an administrative area for web-based updates. Thanks.
