Hey guys. I'm having a bit of trouble. I've got a short animation that I've put
together that wont seem to play right. What's odd is that if I play the movie
in the Flash authoring environment (just pushing Enter), the motion tweens I've
got work perfectly. However, when I test the movie in the Flash Player, the
tweens no longer work, the image just jumps from the beginning of the tween to
the end, leaving out everything in between. I thought the problem might fix
itself if I exported a swf file and played that, but that didn't work either.
I'm just confused as to why I'm getting a discrepancy between playing in the
environment and in the player, and it's starting to frustrate me. I've tried
changing the frame rate, I've tried changing my streaming audio to an event,
and nether worked. Any suggestions? Any and all help will be greatly
appreciated. :)

I'm new to flash, but this is what I might try.
you might need to put more frames between the beginning and the ending of the tween or play with the fps speed.

make sure the you have an instance of the same symbol in both of your starting & ending keyframe of that motion tween

*slaps forehead* I should have caught this sooner. The symbols I was using were
just text, and the motion tweens made them fade in and then out. Somehow or
another the text within the symbols was set to dynamic instead of static. Can't
believe I missed that. :)
Thanks for the suggestions anyway guys. It's nice to know there's people who
are willing to help. :)
