Hi. I'm using Flash 8 and I have a password input text field. Is there a way I
can get it to echo asterisks rather than the characters input? I know there's a
password component I could use but can I do it with a regular input text field?

Could you, in the future, NOT edit your post away. This is a user forum, and
there may in the future be other users that are having the same issue as you.
Even if you solve the problem without someone responding to your post, you
should REPLY to your initial post and describe what you did to solve the
problem (ideally marking said REPLY as the answer). That way, if someone else
does have the same question as you in the future, they can easily search the
forums and find a solution.
