I am just beginning to learn Flash for work. I want to make a slide show for my
parents' anniversary. Should I do this in Flash or is that making it more
difficult than necessary. I'd like to use it though to reinforce what I'm
learning ? I'll most likely have to run it on a television.
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't use flash as a video editing tool (especially for tv output).
Exporting flash to avi (or related dvd media) is sometimes hit or miss when it
comes to quality. Do you have any actual video editing tools? I would rather
use the crappy Microsoft Movie Maker before flash for a simple slideshow to tv.

Yeh, Flash is too flaky for that.

Flash isn't too flaky for that, you just won't get the best quality results for tv output.
