Problems with special characters

Hi, i have a problem, I'm reading some data from a DataBase, I'm using on the
Dynamic textField the font type StoneSans, and the special characters doesn't
display, it appears like an square, but if I use a different one like Arial it
WORKS!, this font if i use it on another application like NotePad I can see the
special characters, what's wrong?, I Embedded de fonts, also i added the font
to the library but nothing

Can you help me?

When you embedded the font characters, which character set did you choose?
lowercase, uppercase, numbers, etc. Did you also choose to embed special
characters? What type of database are you pulling the text from?
