see link: www.computerologyconsulting.com/graphe

This file is rendering great on PC but on Mac OSX/Safari it is rendering all
of the text on the same line.  The only addition was the addition of french
accents to some of the text and some minor spelling corrections, it worked
before this.  The PC is set up for US English, the Mac side is set up for
Canadian French.

Please help - I need to get this project shipped asap and the client can't
view it on his Mac at all!

Have you embedded your fonts?
mrcanada - 08 Jul 2008 19:22 GMT
I usually have embed fonts selected... but now that I am going to check it I can't find the setting for embed fonts

Where do I ensure that this is the case?

If it's a static text field, they are embedded by default. Otherwise, for
dynamic or input text fields you'd see the "Embed..." button next to the
anti-aliasing box in the Properties panel. This applies, of course, only to
text fields created during authortime.

You probably already know this but your French link's getting a 404 error.

yes they are all static text fields, no dynamics
I switched them all from use system font to bitmap (no anti alias) I will
await to hear back from the Mac user to see if the problem is resolved

Very weird though, flash is flash and should be platform independent.  I never
anticipated such a huge difference between OSX/Safari and PC/IE/FF; the very
concept of flash should make this impossible: I beleive this is a bug in the
Mac version somewhere that needs to be corrected

I have also embedded the fonts for the few dynamic text boxes, although the
problem was appearing in every movie not only the movies that contained
dynamics.  Is there perhaps a trick I should use to embed all glyphs for fonts
used in the movie; ie creating hidden dynamics and embedding?  I would guess
that because embed isnt available for statics that it embeds them by default
