hello --

what could it be with blurry pixel fonts? i have everything set to whole
numbers. i have quadruple checked every single movie clip and static text
field. the majority of the text looks great. but in some places, they look
disgusting.

is there anything i may have overlooked or not considered? the font is free --
bitLight10 (srB) , i have uninstalled it then reinstalled it.

Some pixel fonts will only look right at certain sizes. Meaning the
font may look right as font size 8 and 12 but 10 won't line up with
the pixels thus causing the blurred look. Hope that helps.

do you have any filters applied to the text, it may look this way in the working environment

in a couple of places i use attachMovie with an mc containing child clips with
bitmap text. every single clip is rounded to whole numbers though.

also, i have clips that are 3 - 4 children deep. these are all rounded to
whole numbers too.

i can't explain it. is there a place i can upload an .swf to show you?
