I've had Flash Player and ActiveX installed and working fine.  Then something
happened.  I've tried everything, and I mean EVERYTHING on Adobe's web site and
all I get is an endless loop of

Go to www.adobe.com/go/tn_19166.  I uninstall Flash.  I've manually deleted
Flash.  I've manually deleted everything associated with Flash.  I've
uninstalled ActiveX.  I've deleted Active X.  I've manually deleted AxtiveX.
I've removed both Flash and ActiveX.  I've gone to my control panel and deleted
Flash and ActiveX.  I've done everything except wipe my hard drive clean and
all I get is:

Go to www.adobe.com/go/tn_19166.

it's an endless loop of nothing that helps.

I'm SICK of it becuase Adobe has created a program that EVERYONE MUST
HAVE in order to view 99.9% of the web sites, BUT DOES NOT SUPPLY
SUPPORT FOR.

I'm SICK SICK SICK, and want for FIX THIS.

Does ANYONE have any suggestions?

I have had same problem.  Have you figured out a fix for this?  It is quite frustrating!

Nothing yet.  Of course, Adobe has been no help.

i have the same issue. and i have tried everything on the troubleshooting page
and it still doesnt work. i decided to call adobe in hopes of assistance and
they spoke very rudely to me. they simple said they can't help because the
product is free and we need to buy something for help. and even if i did buy
something they cant assist us with flash. they are so rude. i would love to
rant, but this isnt the time for it. i just want help. adobe should train their
staff to help with flash since it is the most used of all their products, not
just tell us to read a page and do it on our own. thats why they are there, to
help, not give useless advice that we can find on the website.

I finally found the solution:

http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=fb1634cb&sliceId=1

And follow the instructions under "SOLUTION".

It states in #5 to make sure there are two items in the same location.  THAT
is where I was not getting it.  I had to copy them into that specific file
folder manually.
