Hi guys,
When trying to use a nice flash creation instead of teh usual horrible old
ebay templates on my auction listings I'm encountering a problem....
I have used the following html in the ad....
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;
charset=iso-8859-1"><title>eBay Auction</title>
<center>
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000"
codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#
version=7,0,0,0" id="index" align="middle" height="730" width="760">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.xxxxx.xxx/index.swf"><param
name="quality" value="high"><param name="bgcolor" value="#423a3b"><embed
src="http://www.xxxxx.xxx/index.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#423a3b"
name="index" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" align="middle"
height="730" width="760" play="true">
</object>
<br>
<br>
</center>
Where the "http://www.xxxxx.xxx/" points to where teh .swf etc files are
located, however when I go to teh auction page the flash is stuck saying
"Loading 0% of 1"
If I right click and select play it all works fine, how can I make it work
from the get go??
I tried adding <param name="play" value="true"> in there but it made no
difference whatsoever :-(
Many Thanks Guru's
Jay
PS.
I have created a test auction page with a little freebie flash to demonstrate
the problem if anyone is interested!!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250211176459
As you can see nothing happens until you right click and select "Play" :-(
