I am TRYING TO RUN ANY FLASH PROGRAM ON MY COMPUTER..... i have mx installed mx
2004 and version 8. For some reason all 3 of them crash when they try to run.
Anything I try to open that resembles flash (even lynda.com tutorials) it says
that macromedia projector has crashed. I am really in need to find out what is
going on with my puter. I have uninstalled ALL macromedia products and
re-installed them. The only one it does to is flash!!!!! anyone have any idea?
my puter is a 3.0 mhz with 2 gig ram. It worked fine for months and months
without any problems. i think I might of installed a codec or something that
isnt right.. im not sure.. all i do know is that I cant use flash and the
projector doesnt work... does anyone have a ideas why? is there a codec kind of
preference folder for macromeda somewhere on my computer?

If you are using Windows XP, save a restore point, then load an old
restore point back from when Flash was working.  Make sure Flash works
again, then you can restore back to your new point and start working
backwards on other restore points to find the date when the problem
started.  Figure out what you installed on that date or just keep the
latest configuration that worked and update the things that you lost
by going back.
good luck,

:D

If you are running QT - try removing it. Clear it out of registry too.

Peace out.
