Hi
Just two days before I downloaded Flash MX Remoting and its components for Mac.

When I try to connect with my server by the Flash application, I am getting
the following error message

"Flash Remoting MX threw an exception during method invocation: Request
denied.  MacroMedia Flash Remoting MX is operating as a developer edition.  To
upgrade .....

Can anyone help me to overcome from this issue

The Flash Remoting MX developer edition allows you to connect from your
localhost and from 1 designated (ie, specific) IP address. You are apparently
trying to run a SWF on one computer that is trying to connect to a Flash
Remoting gateway on another computer.

Perhaps you have something like:
NetServices.setDefaultGatewayUrl("http://100.10.111.18:9080/gateway");
gatewayConnection = NetServices.createGatewayConnection();

or you've specified "gatewayURL" using FlashVars in your HTML file.

Change the specific IP address in the URL to "localhost" and then run the SWF
on the same computer. The idea is that you have an application server running
on your local computer.

If you don't have this luxuary or you are developing on a Mac and have a PC as
your application server, then you can modify the frconfig.txt file that comes
with Flash Remoting to specify a specific IP address - this would be the IP of
your development machine.

The frconfig.txt file must be located in the application server's classpath or
executable path in such a way as the Flash Remoting Gateway can find it. Where
it goes depends on your application server.

You may also run into problems with crossdomain.xml - a file that I myself
have some issues with and will be making a post about it in this very forum.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply glpete!
Meanwhile I tried with openamf.  It is working fine.
Cheers,
Mohan
