Webmaster Forum / Flash / Flash Remoting / July 2007

Hi guys
I'm trying to convert my Flash Mx 2004 program to Flash 8 Professional.  I use  the onStatus function  in my program to handle server connection problems.
It works fine in Flash Mx 2004 but not in flash 8. Any ideas about this?
Another question is that why when I put a code inside that function in flash Mx 2004 to keep trying connection to the server until it has connection again, it works in the flash IDE but not in my Internet browser?
