I ran the uninstall program for flash player. I keep getting a popup stating "Cannot find flash.ocx". How do I stop the computer from searching for it? How do I get rid of pop-up 'can't find flash.ocx'??? Please reply a.s.a.p. Thank you. I found this "solution", on the web, and it makes A LOT of sense :o). The "can't find file flash.ocx" message, is probably coming from a 3rd-party screen saver, that's looking for the "older version" of your flash player's flash.ocx file; has a different name now, so the screen save can't find it, hence the message.
