Hi,

I'm new to Flash remoting and I'm a little confused by all the different
resources available. I'm using Flash 8 Professional, but I see reference
material for Flash MX and Flash MX 2004. There are differences in the way that
classes are imported and some other syntax I noticed.
Could someone point me in the right direction. The links in Help refer to
Flash MX 2004, but I'd like to be sure. I don't want to spend time learning
outdated code.

Thanks alot,

- J

I think you must go with code of Flash MX 2004, because it has a error class
also. Which would be called in case of error plus it is the latest. For more
help see the link http://flashdeveloper.blogspot.com

Yes, you should go for Flash MX 2004.
I am using the same with actionscript 2.0 to code for remoting.

Thanks
