Hello folks,

I was trying to use the new RemotingConnector Component for Flash MX 2004 and here is the problems:

1) I can't trigger it from the Behaviors Panel;
2) When I put the gatewayURL on the properties it doesn't show me the services or methods - Do I have to put all the Properties myself? (wouldn't it be nice if I put an URL and it shows me the services and the methods - like the webservices component);
3) I put the method and the service, trigger the component and..... error, it doesn't find my method or service (the error message is pretty confusing);
4) Absolutely no help for RemotingConnector component;
5) Also no examples for this component.

So here is the bottomline: It is useless.

Please folks at MM, give us a hand here!

Also

6) How to bind this component to other (like DataHolder) and how to put the Schema automatically?

A lot of work still to put on this... uh?

i am having the same issues. i can get it to connect to the service...but am having problems sending params to the cfc method.

it would be nice if it worked like the rest of the connectors and you were able to trigger it from the behavior menu. kinda defeats the purpose of the entire forms based development if you have to write the code by hand. i mean classes, sure...but simple triggers should be built in.
