Flash programmers,

I just started figuring out Flash, but can't figure it out fast enough and I have a deadline. We need a programmer to use Flash for a real-time, one-way dialog box that is sent small lines of text messages. Our firm trades bonds and the box would have live comments from the trading desk.

I am not certain which technology is needed here, but I am guessing Flash Remoting. We want the best.

Anyone out there interested?

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to post this type of item. It was the first time I was here, and I saw a similar posting, which someone was looking for a programmer basically for free--which we are not.

This is Renee Henderson, and I might be able to do something for you - but I would need more information before I gave you an answer, lest I waste your time and mine.

Please send me an email at:  renee@skillsource.org
please describe your project in a little more detail, give me a reference to your site and explain how you want it to interact with what you have (i.e. what you want your users to see, how it will fit in the context of your site or project)
also, what the specs are of your server and the technologies this has to integrate with.
then tell me how long you have before its needed.

hope I can help.

Just wondering how this turned out, and if the work is available online...?

It turned out well (but I'm biased, since I programmed it) and it will be
online within the first half of January.
