Hi there,  I have spent a long time looking around for answers but I can't seem
to find any information about Flash remoting with ColdFusion 5. There are a
number of resources and examples that cover CFMX, Java and .NET, but nothing at
all for CF5, which seems strange since CF5 has been around for a lot longer
than MX.  Actually we have both CF5 and CFMX (on different servers) but 99.9%
of our CF development is done on CF5 because our web devs have had no end of
trouble migrating CF5 apps to CFMX and have pretty much given up trying. We
host hundreds of websites on CF5 and only one on CFMX and it seems unlikely
that I can convince the devs to switch any time soon.  So, anyone had any
experience Flash remoting with CF5?  Thanks,  Scott

Flash Remoting did not exist until CF MX came out, so it does not work with
CF 5.

Hi Tom,  Yeah, I thought as much. It shouldn't be all that difficult to have a
Remoting pack for CF5 - easier than making packs for .NET and Java Server which
are already available. But I gues MM don't really want to support CF5 anymore
now that they have MX, which is understandable but unfortunate since at the
moment CF5 seems to be a more robust product. Never mind, I will use regular
.cfm pages called with LoadVars.sendAndLoad to send and recieve data
transparently.  Thanks, Scott
