Thats a very strange question. There are quiet a few but it all depends on what you are trying to do as to which language would be best to use for a solution.

what do you need to do, what technology is already in place where you work. For
example, if your using Windows you may want to look at .NET technology and it's
languages - C# or VB.NET or if you're using Unix - Java and PHP, or either
ColdFusion. All depends on what you want to do and already existing
technologies.

Visual Basic (VB) can be used to create basically any kind of program that you
want. It can also be made to create 2D/3D ONLINE games with a client and a
server ( ive already made a few. )
-------------------
HTML is the basic language for web design. It is important to learn HTML first.
-------------------
CSS can be used to add some cool features such as changing scrollbar colors,
or making a whole new layout for myspace.
-------------------
PHP/MySQL PHP is a very hard language to learn. You can add some really cool
stuff though such as a login/logout box for your webpage. Forums. Toplists for
games that records data into your database (MySQL.). And much more.
------------------------------

Programs--- Photoshop/Imageready, these are 2 programs made by Adobe that are
great for editing pictures, making graphics for games, sites, and even making
your signature and avatar. You can make the graphics in photoshop, then add
some animation in Imageready (its not as good as flash but its nice when you
need it combined with your photoshop project.)

These are just some out of the many out there. Hope it helps.
