:confused; I've created a simple preloader for my existing web site,
http://www.tanskiart.com and I need to include a preloader, because the client
wanted a lot of stuff on the index page.

Where in the site or page does the preloader reside? Does it replace the
index.html page so that it loads first, then jumps to the original and now
renamed index page? Or does it actually go into that index page somehow?

Nowhere in all of my research is that particular question answered.

Many thanks for your quick replies!

The preloader will occupy the first few frames of your Flash file. It's not
actually part of the HTML. Hope this helps.

Search the forums for preloaders, i'm sure someone will steer you in the
direction of an efficient one.

michaeltowse,

Thank you for that. I subscribed to this thread, but never got the info back.

Best Regards,
Dave
