Please take a look at this flash - at the very end, the images jiggle.  I've
checked the sizes of the images, as well as their x and y positions.   Nothing
is helping.  Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?  Look at:

:confused;

WFAmarket, how did you accomplish the fade-in? Did you use tweens or actionscript?

Just a guess... you might have used a too high frame rate. If your
fading in is taking too much ressources to be processed during the short
frame interval it might "jump" a few frames. My advice do your fading
by using brightness instead of alpha. Brightness appears to take much
less ressources.

Actually, my guess is that your frame rate may not be high enough. I find that
when it is low (like 12 fps) it is not as seamless. Maybe try using 30 fps. But
I agree with Henri on using the alpha tweening instead of brightness. ALSO, you
could try checking the box in your bitmap properties that says "allow
smoothing." I find it creates a much smoother animation.

Hope this helps.

another thing to check is that the images are all on a whole pixel. Not placed
at 100.4 but placed directly on 100. Something like that will cause the images
to shift and move around when tweening and fading. Check the positioning of the
images. If you go through and make everything sit on a whole pixel it won't
jump around. Turn snap to pixel on.

WFAmarket, the jitter thing generally happens if you alpha tween images to 100%. If you alpha the image to 99% that usually solves that.
