I have buttons on my movie, and when you click on them I want a file to open
without a blank webpage opening

as of now I've linked the buttons using the getURL command.  But when you
click it a blank window opens and states action cancelled.  The files do play
but I don't want these windows to pop up.

Any Advice

What kind of file are you trying to display and how are you trying to
display the info? IN your flash movie or in a html page? If you use getUrl
and you have it directed to an HTML page then it will pop up or, if you
target _self, it will replace the html page that is holding your flash
movie. If your flash movie is in a frame and you are trying to have it put
an html page in another frame you have to target that frames name. Be it
_content or _left or whatever.

The files are real audio and m3u, playlist files for the players so the audio will stream.  These files start the player and the audio plays fine.  I just don't want the pop-up pages to come up.
