I am trying to import an .avi file to convert to .FLV but I will get the
message, "The source file test.avi contains video in an unsupported format and
cannot be encoded." There is no video in the .fla file I am using, not even
movie clips!
How can I find out which part of the animation is causing this error? Thanks,
Dr. Acula

Its the avi file that holds the problem, not your flash file. Avi is a file
type. It can be encoded with any one of many video codecs. Apparently the one
that was used is the problem. If you have access to a video editing
application, you could transcode the .avi file using a different codec. You may
also find that the video editor can output directly to flv.
