hi all

It has been a very long time since I looked at and worked with flash. the last
time was about 7 -8 years ago. I recently purchased production studio cs3
premium and got flash as part of the deal. i opened it up to take a look. i
recognise absolutely nothing. after about 45 minutes I still could not make
even a simple project. are there now 2 different apps? mx vs cs3 professional?
or has it just evolved so much that it is completely different now?

cheers

angus

Yes, Flash CS3 is completely different from earlier versions in many ways. The
scripting language and the methods for using it are new to CS3, so that's the
largest, and most obvious, change.

You might be best served by starting with the tutorials. These should give you
a basis for understanding how this version of Flash works.
