1. Thank you so much for working with me -- this is my first experience
with mySQL and PHP and this product looks very exciting after purchasing it
from the Adobe Exchange for $30.

While the product comes with an IDE help file, there is no phone number for
tech support, and there is email response, but it is VERY slow.

While, the product documents how to use the component, there is very little
documentation about how to install it for OFFLINE work using mySQL and PHP.

II have a very timely project to accomplish with the NYC Department of
Education and would
appreciate a response ASAP from anyone who has used this product.

4. I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH SETTING UP THE FILEPATH AND DATASOURCE
using the component inspector for OFFLINE development.
(It would also be very helpful to newbies like me to have some more
details on setting up these parameters)

I am using Windows XP Pro Service Pack 1.
I then installed Network Services although I am OFFLINE.
I then installed IIS.
I then installed mySQL 5.0 Community Server as a Windows service and client.
I then installed PHP5.
I am using Flash 8 Pro.

I now have a c:\php (the php did not create a c:\php\www directory as
the instructions say to use)

IIS created a c:\Inetpub and c:\Inetpub\wwwroot directory
[which I tried putting the flashsql_v51.php file in to no avail)

my component inspector window shows:
ASP_DB       : MSAccess
ComponentInst:
dataSource   : C:\Websites\FlashDevelopment\Flash with
SQL\Netdrims\flashsqlmain\flashsql
filePath     : c:\php\flashsql_v31.php
host         : localhost
LoadInto     : none
pWord        :
SQL          :
user         : root

error in output window:
Could not connect and load data from server. Please check your connection,
filePath and server well. Also, this could be due to errors from the
serverside file but rarely.
Error opening URL "file:///c:\php\flashsql_v31.php?typ=&id=950"

I get different id numbers.

Could you please advise me on how to set these parameters up ASAP for the
filepath and filesource, esp this flashsql_v31.php that comes supplied with the
component and encounters the above error.

I must state that I sent this message to techsupport for Netdrims 3 days ago and haven't had a reply yet; hence, my invitation to the forum to help me out.

Thanks.
