Passing parameter from Dreamweaver to Flash

Hello,

is it possible to pass a parameter to flash from html together with the call
of the .swf file? In the .swf I play different slide shows. The paramter I
need, to know which slide show to start. I know that I can load parameters from
xml or text files, but not how to pass a parameter directly wiht the call of
the .swf.
