For some reason, when I edit my website in FrontPage and save the changes, the
swf file that is the menu disappears when viewed in Safari but not Internet
Explorer. There is no problem when I first ftp the pages...it's only AFTER I
(or a client) edits the page in FrontPage.

This is the only website of mine that has this problem. I can edit others all
day long and not have any disappearing acts. The site page that is a problem
is: http://www.ffel.net/quote.html. A page on that same site that has NOT been
edited is http://www.ffel.net/ffel.html.

I hate FrontPage but the client insists on being able to edit the site form
himself. Any Smarties out there who are more advanced than me?!

It is very possible malformed HTML or unsupported HTML. A simple test is to
just publish the menu in Flash and use the HTML Flash generates to see if it
comes up in Safari.

Possibly the version of the Flash player in Safari is not appropriate for the
swf version. When in Safari, go to Adobe to determine the player version:
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/.

If you do not like Frontpage, develop a plan to migrate to Dreamweaver so you
can also get support in that forum.
