:confused;
I've suddenly found that I am unable to post data from Flash forms on one
machine. Simple as that.
Other machines around it on the same network with exactly the same
firewall/security/browser/Flash Player version have no difficulty whatsoever.
The form is submitting a post to an .asp page. Having checked the web logs
there is no evidence the post is even being initiated.
There are other people who are having the same problem but I can't for the
life of me find a common thread.
Have checked Flash Player settings, uninstalled Flash Player, upgraded Flash
Player - all sorts of variations but still no luck. Doesn't matter what browser
I try, same result.
Weirdest thing is that the data post works fine when working in the Flash
programme environment itself when "testing the movie". Any ideas?

I guess it has more to do with network than Flash. Check with the network admin :)
