Hello everybody

I am just a beginner in Flash, so if this does seem too lame apologies.

I am trying to load external .htm files in a Flash movie.

---------------        ---------------        ---------------
|Button 1|        |Button 2|        |Button 3|
---------------        ---------------        ---------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Scrollable viewport

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

where each button loads a different .htm files

I read through the Leo Schuman's excellent tutorial Bike Trips Sample
Application: Using the XMLConnector Component in Flash MX Professional 2004 but
unfortunately .htm files I am trying to display does not lend themselves to
this method.

I will be greatefull for some pointers or the URL of a tutorial showing how to
accomplish this.

Many thanks

It wont load a HTML file. They have to be in XML format. Print out the tute and have a read and do it step by step. Its a bit hard at first, but stick with it

thanks for taking time to reply. Actually I did not have any problem
following XML -> Flash tutorial. I need something that will display some
existing HTML pages in a viewport in Flash which includes nav widgets,
if such a creature exists :-)
