Hi Guys,

On a Windows PC it's easy enough to test how a webpage looks in Firefox,
IE, and Opera, but what about Apple's Safari? Unless you have an Apple as
well, which I do not.

Is there some kind of test site that will show how a page looks rendered
by Safari? If not -and I can't find one with my web search- how do you
pros do it?

Thanks all.

Yes thanks. Didn't know there was a Win version.

There is a simulation page, I just found it:

However it is not working at the moment, I've emailed the author.

Cheers.

Just use Apple's version - go for functionality tests, not just screen
shots.

Besides, it'll also make sure things work well on the iPhone.

Yes I realized that after posting. Thanks.

It should be noted that most Mac users are still using version 2, whereas
the Windows version is 3 beta. Version 3 fixes various CSS bugs present in
version 2 [1], so it really helps to test pages on a real Mac.

[1] For example:

button{
 display:block;
 margin-left:auto;
 margin-right:auto;
}

This bug was still present in early betas of verion 3, but has now been
fixed.
