OK, so I thought I was going to amaze everyone with drop-shadowed text by
using absolute positioning--grey text positioned slightly to the left and
down behind the normally anchored text.

Hah! Tricked myself.

The site is http://www.stingsportkansascity.com and was laid out by a
talented marketing fella with zero experience in Web design, which
challenges me to *try* to match his print effects for magazines, etc. ("Why
can't you do that?")

In FF, the CSS rollover effect doesn't work... maybe it never did. (I just
started checking sites in FF.)  But at least the cursor changes to a hand as
is normal for an anchor.

In IE7, the rollovers work beautifully but, while the links are alive, the
cursor changes to an I-beam instead of a hand.

Before I give up on the drop shadow effect and go back to normal use text
anchors, does anybody have any suggestions that might make it work?

Please forgive my desperate need to meet a combined deadline and design
requirement the only way I knew how. I'm still learning how to manipulate
flow without tables. It could have and should have been dome better, but...
