If I have a containing div that has padding of 10px and a width of 200px.
Then Inside I have an image with a width of 200px and a left margin
of -10px.
In IE6 white space gets added to the right of the image, making the
container 210px wide. Is this a known bug?

IE6's overflow behavior is very broken. Results can be strange and a
PITA to work around. Post a URL if you're looking for more specific
suggestions to your particular situation. Do not post code, please.
