I am still struggling to develop a two column page with a navigation
bar and content area, but the two I have tried out so far look quite
different in different browsers.

Could some kind soul check them out and tell me what I am doing wrong?
The HTML and CSS validates.

The URLs are
http://tassie.net.au/~abell1/meyer332.htm and
http://tassie.net.au/~abell1/testmenu1.htm

PS If you have seen a similar post from me recently it is because my
ISP has been having trouble with its news server and I'm not sure if
the recent post got through.

Regards, Alex

It did.  And you responded, so you must be aware that it got through
just fine.
