I created a seperate .css file to control to html pages. It works for one
page, but not the other? Could anyone tell me a possible reason for this? I
made sure the

<link rel="stylesheet" href="webstyle.css">
is exactaly the same in both html pages.

Something else is different between the two pages, and is causing the
different behavior.

Of course, without URLs, it's hard to say what that might be...

Mystic Meg is currently on vacation, and wouldn't you know it the witch
has taken the crystal ball with her. (hint: provide the urls to the
pages)

Are both HTML files in the same folder?

Try copying-n-pasting the working tag to the non-working page in case it's a
tiny error which is not immediately obvious.

Point your pages at http://validator.w3.org/ and see what errors it throws
back at you. There may be a missing > or " prior to the CSS link which is
screwing things up.

The path is relative, are the two html pages in the same directory.

Don't forget to add
 type="text/css"

Files are in same directory. I checked everything three times over. I
created another html file (blank) that worked with the css, moved the
"contents" from the other into new one and is working now.. I dunno what the
prob was though.

If you would "look" sNiek, I said i got it fixed. Also, I work with my pages
"offline" on my computer and make sure they work properly before uploading
to the server. That is why there was/is no url given.
